Is It Early Menopause?
Just as every woman has to go through menses, so also every
woman has to go through menopause. Menopause is not something
that is easy for women. The symptoms of menopause vary in
different women, however there are some symptoms that are
common amongst them.
The common symptoms are, to have heavy menstrual cycles,
mood swings or depression that are seen in most of the women
heading towards menopause. Most of the women experience
disturbed sleep, hot flashes, night sweats and so on when they
are in pre menopausal stage. If these symptoms are seen at an
early age then it should be consulted with the doctor because
these are called early menopause symptoms.
Early menopause is seen in women that are under weight or
smoke too much and they attain menopause even before the age of
40. If there are any symptoms of menopause before the age of
40, one should consult the doctor and right medication at the
right time will definitely help. There are also other reasons
like removal of ovaries for medical reasons or hormone failure
or side effects of some typical medicines that cause the
symptoms of early menopause. This can be cured and taken care
of by the concerned doctor. The patient experiencing early
menopause will have to take special care of her diet and should
include calcium and other important nutrients in her diet and
avoid fat and sugar enriched food too much.
A woman who is undergoing early menopause can consider some
of the natural treatment methods as to exercise regularly, take
care of her diet and have well balanced diet. Exercise will
help her maintain her healthy bones and so osteoporosis can be
avoided because this is very common in the women having early
menopause. The exercises should be light and she can include
walking in her daily activities and it is also seen that
joining a group of women facing same symptoms will ease her
problems a bit. Sometimes the spouse might not prove to be the
best person to talk to, as he must be frustrated with her
symptoms like the mood swings or hot flashes.
Its important to realize that though the symptoms of
menopause are natural, this can be dealt with some natural
treatment methods too. The woman who finds that there are
symptoms and she is gradually heading towards menopause then
she should accept the fact and bring some changes in her
lifestyle. She can start exercising regularly like walking or
yoga or some other light exercises. To uplift her mood she can
join aerobics classes also.
